Networking exercises are informal challenges used to encourage interaction between people. They are used to develop conversation among participants at conferences, training sessions, and team building days. When participants are new to each other, for example at a staff induction day, the use of a fun icebreaker helps participants to relax, laugh and learn something about each other. Icebreakers can also be used to encourage discussion on a specific topic.
